One of the most common uses of bone grafts in spine surgery is during spinal fusion. Autograft is golden standard in bone grafting of spinal fusion. But, allograft is very useful when your operation requires more bone graft than your own body can supply. And also, allograft is very important due to the increment of old age and osteoporosis
